Boost Juice Bars

The first Boost store in Bali is located near the hotel. After dinner, I passed by, and my colleague said she wanted a drink, so I went along to buy one!

There are also branches in Taiwan (but I checked and it seems they are all closed 😂). I had bought one in the past but felt it wasn't anything special; it tasted quite similar to regular fresh juice but cost twice as much, so I hadn't bought it again.

This time, I ordered with my colleague:
All Berry Bang (M size, IDR 55,000).
It's made with strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, apple juice, strawberry low-fat yogurt, and ice blended together. It has a very creamy texture, without the icy crunch, and is super delicious 🥰.

Even though it's just some common fruits, I don’t know why it tastes so good! The sweetness is fixed, but I think it's quite just right. The flavor of the strawberry yogurt is prominent, and it tastes very natural without any artificial flavoring. I really couldn’t help but sip it down so smoothly; I kind of regret not going for the L size! It seems I was mistaken when I thought it was just average before. 😓

My colleague ordered the All Berry Bang Light, which is the same price but seems to be lower in fat. However, we found it a bit watery and thinner, so I recommend just getting the regular one.

I can't give it a full 5 stars partly because the price is too high; IDR 55,000 is equivalent to about NT$115, which seems a bit expensive considering Taiwan's prices, and it's even pricier compared to local prices in Indonesia. But it really is delicious, and relatively speaking, it's healthier than other drinks. I probably won't buy it frequently, but I will definitely come back for it occasionally as a treat!

Also, since the smoothies are made fresh, you'll need to wait a bit. I recommend walking around the mall nearby for a bit before coming back to pick it up to avoid waiting too long.
