The store is located next to the station exit, clean, bright, and comfortable, with fast service. Most of the customers are local workers or students. The portions are generous, the meals are substantial, and the prices are reasonable. It gets quite popular, especially in the afternoon when customers come in one after another.
The pandemic has changed a lot; previously, the staff consisted of cool middle-aged Japanese men, but now it's young foreigners. The seating arrangement has also been adjusted, but it seems like the food and prices have remained consistent, which is impressive.
The signature dish is the iron plate cabbage and pork. The cabbage is fresh and sweet, and the pork is tender, paired with a homemade sauce, crispy fried garlic, and pickles to balance the flavors. When you add a raw egg and mix everything together while it’s steaming hot, it’s truly satisfying. They also serve rice and ramen, which are very filling. Since I eat less starch, I usually order smaller portions, but for big eaters, they can increase the amount, catering to everyone’s needs, which is very considerate. Highly recommended!
