Linju Taiden Store used to be a small but high-quality store; sashimi was displayed at the store counter and dishes containing sashimi were cooked freshly.
The current Linju has completely removed that area, and all meals are served from the kitchen; and the hygienic quality has dropped a lot, the store does not smell of oily smoke, and the deliciousness of the meals has also dropped significantly.
My friend and I ordered the fried pork cutlet set meal and kabayaki eel donburi respectively. I didn’t take a single bite of the Kabayaki eel bowl, so I can’t comment on it.
The vegetable plate of the fried pork cutlet includes edamame, lettuce salad, and cauliflower. The cold cauliflower tastes very strange because it is not crispy enough and contains water. The fried pork cutlet itself is terrible, and it is puzzlingly sprinkled with nori and furikake. The smell of oil was strong and the pork was very tough. I had to eat it with the white rice sprinkled with sesame and furikake. I was thinking about how this restaurant could be like this.
I understand that sometimes the performance of cooked food and raw food in a Japanese restaurant can be very different. I have eaten hand rolls, sushi and sashimi donburi here before, and I was quite satisfied; but the result of this meal may not be the same. Want me to come again any time
