Because there were too many people taking the train during the weekend, we decided to eat first before heading to the station. We waited about 20 minutes in line for a table for two. If you’re taking it to go, there are two types of bento boxes that don't require waiting; other items still have to wait a while before they can be taken away.
We ordered:
Green Onion Beef Rice Bowl Mega for $229 plus a Vegetable Set for $45. My boyfriend was curious, so he ordered the Mega. When it arrived, it was in a large bowl, and the soft-boiled egg slid right out when cracked... To be honest, I felt that adding the veggie set didn’t really justify its price. The main dish was delicious! The price for just the main dish was quite reasonable.
We also got the Fried Chicken Curry Set (medium bowl) for $149. The fried chicken arrived later than the main dish. The chicken pieces were slightly greasy. The curry wasn't very thick but was quite salty, and it didn't have much substance in it. The fried chicken paired well with the curry, but this set only includes two pieces of fried chicken. The soup was way too salty and not tasty. Even though it was only $149, I felt pretty dissatisfied...
The dine-in option includes tea, which should be barley tea. The restaurant was quite crowded and if fully packed, it can get pretty noisy.
