📍Location: Bangkok, Thailand
This time, I came to eat Northern Thai cuisine recommended by my colleague at Lay Lao, a Michelin-recommended restaurant. It originally was just an unnoticeable small stall, but recently moved to a larger and more beautiful location next to the MRT station. The indoor environment is quite nice with strong air conditioning, making it suitable for group dining. On a weekday afternoon, there were still seats available without a reservation, and you can bring drinks inside to enjoy while eating, and the staff did not stop us.
Some of the photos taken don't look very appealing as we devoured the food like hungry ghosts in a few moments 😂, but I tried my best to show the overall picture. Basically, the dishes consist of common Thai dishes, with detailed descriptions in the photos. Overall, I found the food tasty but not particularly amazing; I think it could reach the standard of many street-side Thai eateries.
If there's any special advantage, it's that the restaurant is very new and beautiful, and it's conveniently located, so the food should be relatively hygienic and safe to eat. However, I personally have a decent stomach, so I prefer to enjoy cheap and delicious street food instead. I would only choose this place for group dining when there are many people. Perhaps the higher the expectations, the higher the standards! After various assessments, I give it 3.5 stars 🌟, which means it's fairly good and a place I would consider returning to—sorry, Michelin 🙏.
