This breakfast shop is called Charcoal Fire Sandwich, and just by the name, I feel like their sandwiches must be amazing.
At first, I thought a "sandwich" meant the triangular kind (with the toast cut in half), but when I asked the staff, I realized that the sandwiches here are actually stacked with three slices of toast. I instantly learned something new! So this is what "sandwich" really means! 🤣
Crispy Chicken Sandwich (75 NT)
I initially thought that to avoid feeling too full, I would just order one sandwich with a set combo.
Inside, there were two round pieces of chicken from the breakfast shop, not the crispy karaage chicken I had imagined.
The texture was average; while it wasn't particularly impressive, it wasn't bad either.
The toast was on the softer side, lacking that slightly crispy texture from charcoal grilling, which was a bit of a letdown compared to what I expected.
After finishing, I realized... I didn't feel very full at all. 🥹
🍟 Combo Upgrade (45 NT)
The combo included 2 hot dogs + 3 chicken nuggets + black tea.
The hot dogs and chicken nuggets were quite ordinary, just the familiar taste of a breakfast shop.
The black tea was surprisingly good, a bit sweet but smooth, and the portion was large, which felt quite satisfying to drink.
I originally intended to order two main dishes, but when I asked the staff and found out that the sandwich actually consists of three slices of toast stacked together, I was worried about getting too full. But actually, the toast is a bit thin, so I think ordering two main dishes might leave me feeling fuller.
When I arrived, I found out I could order online via Line, so in the future, I can order ahead to save time when picking up!
