☕️ Kaohsiung Sinsing ▫️ Around Sinsing Market
☕️ A convenient, budget-friendly chain coffee shop where you can grab a cup on the go.
Today I want to introduce my usual coffee shop, located near Sinsing Elementary School and Sinsing Market. Across the street is a church ⛪️ with an attached preschool, making it quite noticeable. I usually stop by for a cup of coffee on my way to work during the day and take it to the office to drink. ✨
This shop offers basic options like Americanos, Sicilian coffee, and lattes, as well as creative drinks like watermelon 🍉 and avocado 🥑 coffee, which are quite unique. If you don’t drink coffee, there are also other choices like tea or smoothies 🧊. Aside from the beverages mentioned above, they also sell sandwiches, both savory 🉑 and sweet 🉑, which are very convenient for breakfast. 🥪
However, I tend to stick to my usual options. I generally only drink Americanos and lattes, and only during my menstrual period do I switch to drinking brown sugar lattes to comfort myself. For some reason, I’ve never felt a strong desire to try other items that include savory foods. 😆
Currently, the categorization options for coffee shops are limited to cafes and coffee bistros. Personally, I feel both are not very accurate. 🥹 While this shop is also categorized as a cafe on Google, to me, a cafe feels more like a place with comfortable indoor seating where you can sit down and enjoy a good drink. Although this shop does have some seating, it’s limited and set up in an area without air conditioning. ☀️ Plus, Kaohsiung is often hot and humid, which is not ideal for a leisurely sit-down experience. But it seems strange to strictly classify it as just a drinks shop. ❔ I personally hope they could add more options for coffee shops or cafes. 🙏🏻
