This time, I’ve come back to my favorite store, which I've visited countless times—Picnic Day. For me, it’s the first choice when I want to supplement my vegetable intake. The flavors, prices, and the service attitude of the staff all make me feel at ease and happy while eating!
🪑 The store space is small but cozy.
The shop isn’t big; there are only about four seats for dine-in customers. This time I was a bit worried that I might crowd other customers while taking photos 🤣, but these small limitations don't affect the deliciousness of the meals at all.

👩🍳 The staff is super friendly!
There are about 6 to 8 staff members, and everyone I’ve encountered so far has been very polite. Before serving the meal, they will actively ask if you need any soup and kindly explain what the soup is. Today it was “salmon miso soup,” and they even reminded me to be careful of small fish bones inside. They are really attentive 🥹

🍄 Meal recommendation | Pan-fried King Oyster Mushroom (105 NT dollars)
This dish is my top choice every time I come! It's budget-friendly and helps supplement protein and dietary fiber: the king oyster mushroom is pan-fried to perfection and has no strange mushroom taste, which really enhances the texture.
The vegetable side usually includes (pumpkin, sweet potato, or corn, choose one) along with seasonal vegetables. The exact contents may vary each time, but everything I’ve had has been delicious! This is the first place I felt like “I’d eat all the vegetables,” even getting me, a usually picky eater, to finish my plate quietly 🤣
The chicken breast isn’t tough either, and I think it’s worth ordering too (I’ve ordered it before). However, considering a student’s budget, I still believe the king oyster mushroom offers better value for money 😤
