You definitely have to try his youtiao (fried dough sticks), they are very delicious, and even when cold, they don't have that oily taste. They have a nice chewiness without being too hard, and there's a great flour aroma. They are made by the owner himself, and they pair perfectly with sweet soy milk, which is very tasty 😋. I had it once with a friend, and a few days later, I came back to buy some on my own. I highly recommend the youtiao with sweet soy milk.
The first time, I also tried the savory soy milk and rice balls. The savory soy milk is very special; if you haven't tried it, you should give it a go. It's like salty tofu pudding and has shrimp added. The rice balls were okay, but I added a salted egg, which was a bit smelly 😂, probably ruining the flavor. I suggest not adding the salted egg because it’s very salty and smelly.
The second time, I ordered the chives dumplings, which they also call vegetable dumplings, and they were quite tasty. They also have big sesame balls, which I would recommend if you love sesame balls. The downside is that they are a bit oily, but they are delicious.
