Located near Hsinchu Train Station, 🔸Shang Yu Lin🔸 is a chain store that specializes in premium tea drinks and thick fresh milk tea. As a tea lover, I of course had to come and try it out!
(⚠️ I personally prefer pure tea with a strong flavor, unsweetened and without ice.)

✅ Bug Bitten Oolong Tea 🍵
I absolutely love their Bug Bitten Oolong Tea 🐛.
The tea is rich, not diluted.
Upon the first sip, there’s an elegant tea aroma, followed by a sweet tea flavor, and finally a roasted finish.
The whole cup is almost non-astringent, with a clear but well-balanced sweetness.
The name "Bug Bitten" is likely to evoke thoughts of Oriental Beauty tea; this cup should be made from similar tea leaves but with a lower fermentation level.

✅ Green Dragon Tea 🍵
Green tea + Oolong tea.
It has a smooth finish with a refreshing tea aroma.
The sweetness is a bit lower compared to the Bug Bitten Oolong Tea.

✅ Blue Dragon Tea 🍵
Green tea + Oolong tea.
It tastes quite similar to the Green Dragon but has more astringency from the green tea.
Not as fond of this one.

Their tea leaves seem to have a certain quality, and the prices are not high either.
Although I just discovered this place recently, I have already bought from them several times. 😍
If I want tea and there’s a Shang Yu Lin nearby, this store will be my first choice!
