A shop that almost everyone in Changhua knows (?)
It has been around for a long time and is a breakfast spot that locals have tried.
Their signature dishes are traditional rice flour egg pancakes and tofu pudding.
In the past two years, rice flour egg pancakes have become quite popular, with some shops in the north starting to offer them,
but I’ve never seen any as thick as the ones here in Changhua.
Generally, the egg pancake costs 30 and the tofu pudding costs 30,
so a set breakfast for 60 is very filling.
The rural prices are truly unbeatable 😭😭😭
If you come to Changhua, you must try this place.
It’s located on a small road near the school.
The rice flour egg pancake is chewy and soft,
paired with soy sauce and sweet chili sauce (though it’s actually chili sauce, it’s not too spicy).
It’s really a perfect combination.
The tofu pudding is quite standard,
but this combination is truly unbeatable.
The only small downside is that the shop packages everything at the counter,
and sometimes the bags can be a bit oily.
Even though I gave it 4.5 stars,
it’s just an unassuming breakfast shop,
but in my heart, it’s actually a 5-star level 🥹
However, due to rating standards, I can only give 4.5, it’s a shame I can’t give it a full score.
