【Foodholic Nako @ Jeju Island, South Korea】
I want to introduce what I think is the most beautiful and photogenic cafe I visited among many cafes in Jeju Island, which is "Slow boat."
"Slow boat" is also a two-story cafe, with seating distributed on both the first and second floors, and there is even outdoor seating. Each seat gives a different vibe, making me want to try sitting in every spot, haha!
In Jeju Island, many cafes have an ocean view, and the atmosphere is already very chill. Coupled with the incredible aesthetic sense of the Koreans, every corner in the cafe is stunning. I lost count of how many photos I took here; even a small corner feels like a work of art.
The prettiest seat is a sofa by a window on the second floor, where a large window overlooks the sea up close. Looking at the waves while sipping coffee, life feels so good; what more could one ask for?
They have an English + Chinese menu, and the staff's English is quite fluent, making communication easy.
Citrus Madeleine ₩4200
The madeline is quite large, moist, and the citrus aroma is evident. I think it's a dessert that leaves one craving for more once finished.
Egg Tart ₩4800
It's baked to a nice crisp and goes well with coffee for breakfast, but it's not particularly impressive; it's just an egg tart.
Latte ₩7800
I personally found that the first few sips weren’t great, which raised my expectations due to the price. At first, I thought it might just be a cafe selling views, but for some reason, the more I sipped, the smoother it became. By the end, I thought it was quite nice, but overall, the price is still a bit high.
