It is a very Japanese-style restaurant with bar-style seating. Hooks are provided at each position for guests to use. It is prohibited to bring outside food. You need to follow the instructions of the boss lady when seating. You can see from many small places that the boss lady is very knowledgeable. Fastidious and well-behaved.
The portion is sufficient and the price is cheap. This time I ordered the signature sukiyaki beef. What’s amazing is that the fish plate is not the usual tasteless hot pot dish. It has a very fresh seafood flavor when chewed, and the beef is smooth. It's delicious, dipped in raw food-grade eggs, and really satisfying with a bite of rice!
I also ordered the plum wine flavored highbar, which is very smooth and refreshing, perfect for pairing with sukiyaki, and tastes less greasy.
The overall food is similar to Japanese style, the soy sauce is sweet, and paired with unlimited rice and affordable miso soup, it is a restaurant worth trying when passing by Mie!
It is recommended to be seated around 5:30. There are only the proprietress and another chef in the store, so if you come slowly, you may have to wait longer!
The above is the experience of this store visit, Ami Food Notes, see you next time~
