🪑 About the overall atmosphere 🎡
There are some seats on the shop’s awning where you can drink beverages and eat desserts, but since it’s an open space, some people smoke here, and the smell can be quite strong; it seems there are seats on the 2nd floor, but I didn’t go up, so I’m not sure what it’s like. If you’re sensitive to smoke, you might want to consider sitting indoors. The space is divided into a drink area and a baking area, and entering through the right door of the baking area, you’ll find a variety of breads and cakes.
💰 About the price 💰
Danish pineapple bread: $45
🍴 About the food ☕
The selection of breads is abundant; I chose the basic pineapple bread to try. This pineapple bread has no filling and is quite fluffy on the inside; the outer crust is somewhat different from the commonly seen pineapple bread, tasting a bit like a buttery crunch but not too sweet. However, it crumbles easily, so be careful.
🤨 Conclusion ♥
After eating at the nearby Bib Gourmand recommended Taichung meat shop, I came back to buy some bread for a late-night snack, which made for a fantastic day. But it would be better if no one was smoking on the 1st-floor seating as it affects the appetite of others. The bread is slightly pricey and feels somewhat empty, but then again, bread is really just for the flavor.
