🪑About the Overall Atmosphere🎡
This 50 Lan store does not have a porch design; it simply has a simple rain cover on the sidewalk for customers to wait. There is a wooden bench for resting nearby, and if you're lucky, you might find a parking spot for a car at the entrance, but it is usually full of scooters.
💰About the Pricing💰
Brown Sugar Milk Tea without sugar, iced x2, one cup + pearl boba with coconut jelly, 5 NT dollars off for using an eco-friendly cup $65 + 60 = 125 NT.
🍴About the Food☕
Ordered two cups of 94 refreshing drinks, because by the end of the toppings in the boba with coconut jelly, it felt like the brown sugar milk tea was not enough with too many ingredients, so I just bought one cup without toppings to enjoy unlimited refills. The boba staff informed me that I had to wait 15 minutes; waiting is the norm. There is a 7-Eleven nearby where you can watch kids play Pokémon to pass the time, and before I knew it, my drink was ready. The freshly cooked boba is bouncy and elastic, the flavor of the coconut jelly is the strongest, but the milk tea itself is unsweetened, so it doesn't overpower. I enjoyed the whole afternoon.
🤨Conclusion♥
Many beverage shops are closed on typhoon days, but this 50 Lan stands strong and continues to operate, so the business is quite good, and many items sell out quickly requiring a wait. I'm thankful that this shop stayed open during the typhoon, making my afternoon full of joy.
