【Foodholic Naozi @ Jeju Island, South Korea】
"Cafe Layered Jeju Branch" is located in the northern part of Jeju Island, on the way east, right next to the very famous "London Bagel Museum Jeju." These two places feel like they belong to the same group (?) because the style of their merchandise is quite similar.
After taking a number at the "London Bagel Museum Jeju," we strolled into "Cafe Layered Jeju Branch" and ended up buying a scone that looked really delicious.
N0.1 Layered Signature Scone ₩4700
Seeing it labeled as N0.1, we decided to buy it. It also had a note saying "Bread Scone." When we tried it, we found that it does lean more towards a soft bread texture; if you didn't say it was a scone, you wouldn't think you were eating one. It has a simple taste of flour aroma, but the bread itself is very soft and chewy, so I quite liked it.
Pretzel Butter Homemade Scone ₩5800
This is a scone with a slice of butter inside. It has a texture closer to biscuit and a richer salty flavor from the flour. Paired with the melted butter, it’s really rich and delicious. However, I recommend having it with coffee or another drink, or else it might feel a bit dry.
Cafe Latte ₩7000
The first sip of the latte was okay, but it got better with each sip. Even for takeout, they still managed to create a lovely latte art, and the staff kindly let guests take pictures first.
