Arriving at 🔸TEA TOP First Flavor🔸, located near Neili Train Station, this chain of hand-shaken tea shops was founded by a tea company. I really enjoy their pure tea, but unfortunately, there isn’t a branch near my home, so I drink it rarely. 🥲
(⚠️ I personally prefer tea that’s thick and pure, unsweetened and on the rocks)
✅ 108 Tea King 🍵
The 108 refers to the tea leaves being slowly roasted for 108 hours, which minimizes the astringency of the tea and produces a honey cane sugar aroma and sweetness. The very first sip is truly amazing; even without sugar, there’s absolutely no astringency. The honey cane sugar aroma is clearly present from start to finish. The only minor drawback for me is that the tea starts with a consistent honey flavor from the first sip to the last, and I would prefer a slight astringency first before bringing out the honey aroma for a more layered cup of tea.
✅ Signature High Mountain Green Tea 🍵
It tastes more fermented than other green teas. The tea soup is rich and the aroma is abundant. The first sip has a green tea astringency, followed by a refreshing sweetness that comes back — even without sugar, it’s very smooth.
I definitely recommend tea lovers to try their tea; you can feel that it is brewed with care. I’ve purchased it several times and the quality has always been consistent. 👍
