🌯 Kaohsiung Sanmin ▫️ Around Zhongdu
🌯 Traditional cuisine that can be enjoyed any day, not just during festivals
Who says you can only eat spring rolls during the holidays?
They can be enjoyed all year round, especially in hot weather 🉑️.
This traditional delicacy is well-balanced with vegetables, meat, and eggs.
It’s nutritious enough to be a breakfast or lunch option 💯.
Today, this place is located on Zhongdu Street.
Unlike the homemade pure white dough, they use whole wheat spring roll skin instead.
This little stall does great business 🔥.
Since the owner operates alone, customers often buy several rolls at once.
But you need luck to avoid the queue ✨.
One of the reasons I love this place so much is that you can customize your order.
You can choose to add sugar or not, and specify which ingredients to include or exclude.
For example, I usually order the smoked chicken flavor 🌟.
I skip onion, preserved vegetables, pickled mustard greens, and bean sprouts.
The owner compensates by adding extra lettuce and cabbage for me 🥬.
If anyone has specific requests, feel free to tell the owner! ❗️
What’s rare is that this spring roll doesn’t get soggy easily even without added sugar.
You can often see the owner blanching fresh vegetables.
Cabbage and bean sprouts remain fresh and not discolored.
Overall, the taste is refreshing and healthy 👍🏻.
It has been a good friend that helped me lose 5kg during the first half of the year ❤️.
*Operating hours may vary during holidays.
*During holidays, due to high demand, only regular meat and vegetarian options will be available without customization.
