When I came to Japan, I was looking forward to eating authentic eel rice. Although I searched for many restaurants and did a lot of research, my plans never kept up with the changes. Finally, we came to one of the itineraries: Ueno Zoo, Ueno Park and Ame Yoko Shopping Street. There are many places where Taiwanese and Chinese people buy Japanese cosmetics, but Izuei is almost always surrounded by Japanese people, drinking beer with eel rice. , fried shrimp tempura, and sashimi, the price is over NT$600-1,000, it’s really worth it!
The eel is not like many restaurants in Taiwan, where the sauce is too salty or too sweet to swallow. You can taste the aroma of the fish itself, with a light sauce on the surface. When you enter the mouth, the aroma of grilled fish overflows, and you are full. It tastes good and the portion is just right. I highly recommend it to friends who come to Ueno.

The interior decoration in the store is very unique, including the signature "panda" decoration from the Ueno Zoo across the street, which is very cute and in line with local characteristics.

There are many cute and exquisite dolls that you can enjoy slowly while waiting for your number to be called.

There are a lot of seats in the store, but I still had to wait for about half an hour. The last place to eat was to take the elevator to the 7th floor.
