On this day, I suddenly felt like having Japanese cuisine, so I ran over to the area of Huwei.
Iino has moved to its current location from the vicinity of Huwei Institute of Technology.
There's a large parking lot nearby, making it convenient to park (20 NT dollars/hour).

As soon as you enter, there's a blackboard introducing today’s special ingredients.
If you need help, the staff will enthusiastically provide you with information.
In the back, there's complimentary miso soup (with fish meat) and barley tea available.
The restaurant uses a QR code for ordering.
After ordering, enjoy a bowl of hot miso soup while waiting for the dishes to be served!

⭐️ Japanese-style Cod Liver Salad 💰180
There's quite a lot of cod liver, paired with salad and a Japanese-style dressing, refreshing and appetizing.

⭐️ Lobster Salad Hand Roll 💰45
⭐️ Fresh Tuna Scallion Hand Roll 💰80
Just hand rolls, delicious!

⭐️ Sesame Beef Rice Bowl 💰280
The beef is cooked to about medium-rare, very tender! The sesame sauce surprisingly complements the beef, making you keep going for more.

⭐️ Flounder Fin Meat Sushi 💰145/2 pieces
The flounder fin meat really gives you that melt-in-your-mouth sensation!

⭐️ Angel Red Shrimp Sushi 💰120/2 pieces
⭐️ Assorted Sashimi Sushi 💰250/7 pieces
The ingredients are very fresh; if you don't know what to order, just choose this dish!

⭐️ Chicken Neck Skewers 💰75
⭐️ Grilled Shiitake Mushrooms with Salt 💰70/2 skewers
Drizzled with lemon and served with pepper salt and shichimi powder, piping hot and super delicious!

In summary, if you come to Huwei and want Japanese cuisine,
Iino is a good choice.

This is one of our favorite places to visit. The food is tasty and for children under 3 they give you a seaweed rice ball, steamed egg and drink for free, which our toddler enjoys. Service isn't super responsive and you should ring the service bell to get tea refills. But we love this place and come back often, highly recommend if you go to megacity mall and especially if you have kids under 3.

This place has a nice outdoor seating area in front and also in the back, especially nice when Vanderbilt Open Streets is running, as then the street is closed to cars and there are a lot of events like live bands, so the atmosphere is festive. The sushi here is fresh and tastes really good, very happy with the Ocean Lover roll which has salmon, tuna and avocado. The tonkatsu curry is also really delicious, especially the fried pork cutlet is really juicy and goes well with the curry sauce, and the rice is also fragrant. The curry has a nice kick as well. This is also a place we frequent quite a bit.
