#Three Gorges
This Japanese restaurant hidden in a residential area in Three Gorges seems to specialize in sashimi and rice bowls. As soon as you enter the store, you are greeted by many displays of prepared sashimi in freezers. There are quite a variety of choices available. If you have specific combinations in mind, you can also tell the owner your budget for customization. The adjacent freezer has some side dishes, desserts, and beverages to choose from. The shrimp and oysters inside look great as well... unfortunately, we didn't order them today.

Today, we dined in and ordered beef bowl, miso soup, and custom salmon and squid sashimi, and we also added a side of vinegared rice. The beef bowl was quite good, not overly salty, and the meat was tender with a generous portion of rice. The miso soup had the usual tofu and seaweed, but it wasn't bland at all. The sashimi was very fresh and cut thick, and the squid was extremely delicious—sweet and fresh. The vinegared rice portion was more than expected, so we were quite full. I felt that the ingredients and flavors were excellent.

The only downside was that they used a lot of disposable utensils for dine-in. The self-service utensil station also had no soy sauce or wasabi, and the staff forgot to provide it when serving. It was a bit inconvenient to ask the staff for them separately. They may be focusing on takeout. The dine-in experience isn’t as great; however, I noticed there were also quite a few dine-in customers today. There isn’t much space for dining in; probably just three groups can fill it up. If they could change the dine-in utensils and dishes, the overall dining experience would be even better.

There is a parking lot in the nearby alley. Friends driving can take advantage of that.

The thickness of the sashimi is very good.
The pudding looks pretty good; I'll try it next time.
