"Feng Guo Lao" is helmed by "Uncle Ginseng" who is over 80 years old and insists on hand-packing and pelleting the siomai. Although the store is called "Feng Guo Lao", the siu mai is its most popular specialty. The employees work at 7:00 a.m. every day. I went to the store to prepare everything, from kneading the skin, preparing the stuffing, to steaming the steaming baskets. The team did everything personally. No wonder the siomai has successfully captured the tastes of a group of diners!
