The original Cat Island on North Xin Street has moved to the railway!
It has integrated with Mii Mii Railway Store to become a cat café٩٩(๑•̀ω•́๑)۶
Located next to Hsinchu High Business School
The entrance is not very noticeable
You have to look for it or you'll easily miss it.
During afternoon tea, it's highly recommended to make a reservation!!!
When I went that day, I forgot
There were no seats available until 16:30
We first wandered around the Big City and then came back.
As soon as you enter, you'll see the cats napping at the counter
All the cats in the store are super cute❤️
You can pet them but not pick them up
Some cats can even let you touch their paw pads.
There are two floors
The decor adopts an old house style
The space inside is very spacious
The tables are far apart from each other.
There are quite a lot of drink and food options available
You need to check the dessert cabinet for desserts.
Iced Americano $120
It tastes a bit bitter
But my boyfriend thinks it tastes just right and really likes it.
Oolong Latte Hot $160
Hot lattes will always have latte art (✪ω✪)
The tea flavor is quite strong and not overpowered by the milk flavor
The sweetness is just right
Unfortunately, when it was served, it felt a bit cool.
Pure Lemon Tart $170
I've always loved the desserts from Mii Mii
The tart crust is a bit hard
The acidity is not too overpowering.
Perhaps it was too cold that day, so the cats were mostly sleeping
If you're lucky, the cats might come to play with you
Or the staff might give you some treats to feed the cats
But just being there makes you feel really good XD
If you want to see the cats awake, it's best to come closer to evening when they gradually wake up.
