Because my friend has a scooter, we wanted to go somewhere a bit farther. We rode for about ten minutes to come here to eat cake XD. My friend is interested in their bar's flowing decorations, while I'm interested in their Basque cake... (I've been enjoying Basque cake lately).
The shop is hidden in the community; you have to park on the street outside and walk in. It's not hard to find; just head towards the area with the slide and then turn a corner, and you will get there.
The interior space is spacious, decorated mainly in a minimalist white style, but there aren’t many seats, making the shop feel a bit small. We went around 4 PM on a weekday, so there weren't many people, making the experience of chatting and eating cake quite pleasant!
What I ordered:
🌻 Brown Sugar Milk $100
Having had brown sugar milk that was more expensive, I think this place offers a larger cup for a lower price, which is nice... It tastes just like regular brown sugar milk.
🌻 Earl Grey Basque $150
It's somewhat dry and not very moist or dense, and the Earl Grey tea flavor is moderate, which is personally my preferred strength. It has a noticeable grainy texture; those who like a drier texture might want to give it a try!
What my friend ordered:
🌻 Affogato $150
She said the ice cream is delicious (oh). The ice cream is served separately from the espresso, so you have to wait for the ice cream to melt before you can drink the coffee, and even using a stir to speed it up takes a while, which is a bit of a hassle.
🌻 Matcha Red Bean Roll $150
The exterior is quite crisp and is baked again, so it's warm when you eat it. It has a strong aroma, and she seemed to enjoy it greatly...
Overall, this shop has a high value for money, with a quiet and tidy environment, and the best part is the prices aren’t too high! It's just a bit far from my usual activity area, but I would like to come back again if I get the chance!
