I suddenly had a strong craving for desserts, so I randomly searched for a shop online. The shop seemed small but quite cozy and cute. It's a café that offers French pastries, and I appreciated that the dessert display included not only the names of the pastries but also the ingredients inside. I think that's really great; sometimes, shops give beautiful names but you can't tell what's inside, which can be a bit frustrating.
Among French pastries, I've always liked the Saint Honoré, and I was excited to see that their signature version was a pearl milk tea flavor. The caramel puff had a crispy texture, and pairing it with the milk tea custard felt perfect. The layers were flaky, and the cream was refreshing and not too heavy; it wasn't overly sweet either, which was nice. The only downside was that the size was a bit small, so I felt like I didn't have enough.
I called ahead to reserve the desserts before picking them up, and I found it very convenient to use Line Pay. The takeaway bag they provided is reusable, so I would like to try other desserts next time if I get the chance.
