Located next to the Tonghua Night Market, "3%" is a small and cozy handmade beverage shop. Its minimalist appearance and cute style make it hard to resist taking a second look as you walk by. The location is convenient, making it just right to grab a refreshing drink after exploring the night market. The staff are friendly and polite, and their service attitude is excellent, making you feel the sincerity and warmth from ordering to receiving your drink.

This time, I ordered the "Tea King Cheese Cream," which uses Jin Xuan tea paired with cheese cream. The Jin Xuan tea has a delicate fragrance and no astringency, making it warm and refreshing—perfect for those who don't enjoy strong tea flavors. The salty and fragrant cheese cream blends well with the tea base; however, its texture is quite smooth and light. I prefer something richer and might find it a bit lacking in depth; but if you enjoy a refreshing taste, this drink has the perfect balance!

Additional note: The first time I visited, I ordered the 3% Jin Xuan Tea King. I checked Google reviews and noticed that the shop patiently replied to every single review, even those that were less than friendly. This is quite rare. Regardless of whether those replies were templated, they at least demonstrated their attention to customer feedback, which I think is commendable!

Overall, "3%" is a small shop worth trying, and I recommend everyone check it out for a drink when visiting the Tonghua Night Market!

Located next to the Linjiang Night Market, <3% Three Percent> attracted me when I saw it introduced by a blogger. The large sign says it is a "Jin Xuan tea specialty drink shop." It is said that the signature drink ❰ 3% Jin Xuan Tea King ❱ has won both Michelin and International Flavor Awards!

The logo of the shop looks like it is made of inverted 3%, resembling a pouting emoji, and it's quite cute 😗

⭐️ 3% Jin Xuan Tea King $40
During my first visit, I decided to try the award-winning Jin Xuan Tea King. The golden-yellow tea is brewed from three different varieties of Jin Xuan in a golden ratio. However, this cup... didn’t quite suit my taste, sorry! I couldn't quite understand it. To my perception, it has a strong tea aroma as it enters, a hint of Pu'er tea in the middle, and a familiar creamy flavor of Jin Xuan in the finish. The texture is indeed very rich, but what confused me was the Pu'er taste in the middle... I wonder if there was some mixed in? It just felt a bit different from the sweet and mellow flavors I've had with Jin Xuan before. I probably wouldn’t order this again next time 🤔

⭐️ Charred Fragrant National Treasure Tea + 3% Pearl Balls $60
This cup was ordered by my friend, and I took a couple of sips. It's a gentler, caffeine-free drink. It's called "National Treasure Tea" because it ranks alongside gold and diamonds as one of South Africa's three national treasures, and it can only be grown in the mountainous areas of Northern Cape Town!

It has a caramel aroma upon entry, and I quite like the fragrance and smooth texture this National Treasure Tea brings. Even without sugar, there's a sweet aftertaste. This cup also has the additional 3% Pearl Balls... which are tapioca pearls + winter melon jelly. The pearls are soft on the outside with a firm core, and the jelly is slightly chewy.

‼️ Conclusion:
The initial experience wasn’t great. The staff were very friendly, but the tea's taste didn’t resonate with me. I probably won’t make a special trip back in the near future. However, if I pass by again next time, I might try other items. If I have any new insights, I will update the review!
