北平半畝園
Beiping Half-Mu Garden seems to be an old established shop in Taitung. Just by looking at the appearance of the sign, you can feel the scene when it first opened.
When I went there to eat, all the ingredients left were knife-cut noodles, so there weren't many choices. The soup of the knife-cut noodle with pickled mustard greens and shredded meat was fresh and sweet, and the noodles themselves were very soft and chewy, possibly because the boss makes the knife-cut noodles completely by hand. You can often see him rolling the dough in the cooking area outside, and after rolling, he handmade the knife-cut noodles, which is why they are especially delicious.
Next time, I’d like to try their pancakes, but sometimes if you go at 7 PM, you can't get any because they're too popular! 🤣
